The use of plastic parts within industrial products is not new. What is new is the ever-increasing need to reduce weight and cost without compromising either form or function. Manufacturers continue to seek to replace relatively expensive metal parts with lower cost plastic alternatives.
With experience across a very wide range of polymers, including high performance grades such as Ultem, PEEK and Torlon, we have considerable know-how in helping our customers engineer cost from their products.
Technical plastic mouldings can be manufactured to a high degree of precision, and with post-operations such as CNC machining, plastic parts can be often used to replace expensive aluminium or steel fixtures.
Our industrial solutions cover an infinitely wide range of applications.
We have strong experience in manufacturing technical plastic parts using basic polymers all the way through to high performance polymers such as Ultem, PEEK and Torlon. This capability is matched with in-house tool manufacturing that ensures tools are precisely matched to part design and material to maintain the optimum cost balance.
Our cost proposition excels by a flexible manufacturing capability delivered through either our UK or Slovakian manufacturing sites. With the UK site providing flexibility for low – medium volumes, our Slovakian site specialises in high volume. ENL can mould from 10 – 830 tonnes capacity and up to a 4000 grams shot. With both horizontal and vertical split-feed or conventional, we have the capacity to mould and overmould a huge range of parts.
Quality is maintained through an integrated quality system that carries the highest levels of quality accreditations, from ISO9001, TS16949 (automotive) and AS9100 (aerospace). Delivered through a state-of-the-art manufacturing capability and an experienced management team, excellence is delivered, as standard.
Our on-time delivery record is, simply, superb. We have strong know-how of logistics management that can handle complex inbound / outbound parts management across both our UK and Slovak sites.
